The Children’s Park of Georgia will be a beautiful arrangement of thoughtfully designed gardens and trails with the theme of celebrating the precious lives of children. From the moment you step foot in this park, you will be amazed at the attention given to every detail at this living work of art. It will be a beloved retreat for peaceful strolls and an opportunity for discovery for kids from 1 – 101.

This magnificent park will feature trails that form the shape of a butterfly. The butterfly trails will be paved concrete for optimum accessibility. Both sides of the trails will be lined with stones named for children. The trails will also be generously decorated with beautiful monuments and statues of children and animals at play, swinging benches, and seating areas also named for children.

Beds of flowers, flowering shrubs, grasses and trees will adorn the trails and be a prized project of horticulture clubs.

All trails will lead to the center of the park to a grand butterfly shaped amphitheater. This will be a perfect venue for services, graduations, and more.

Last but not least, at the back of the park children and their families will be delighted to discover an inviting playground wonderland. Our goal is for this playground to be Georgia’s most accessible and inclusive playground for children of all abilities.

The Children's Park and Family Refuge will be a beloved retreat for today and a nostalgic treasure for the future. It will be a place where families can picnic, have peaceful strolls, and where every child can play.
