The Children's Park Activity Museum is best described as an indoor/all season educational play space. It will be an exciting place with fun activities and state of the art equipment for children of varying ages and abilities. The fundamental concept for the Children's Park will be to promote self-esteem in children. In fact, the "Walls of Fame" throughout the park will honor kids (i.e. authors, entrepreneurs, artists, scholars, athletes, survivors and heroes) who have achieved amazing accomplishments. These profiles will be an inspiration to all children and encourage them to make the most of their own lives. Remember Georgia's Children Foundation will hold annual contests to select the children to be featured on the walls.

The facility will be divided in different sections based upon age groups. Occupational and Physical therapists will be consulted in the designing of several features so that the activities and play equipment welcome children of all different abilities. Attention will be paid to every detail to ensure that an engaging and educational environment has been created for ALL children.

A primary goal in developing the facility is to make it is as parent and family friendly as possible. Attention will be paid to every detail and common areas of frustration will be addressed such as:
-Good visibility to keep track of children in the play centers
-Strong security measures in place to ensure the safety of children
-Stroller parking and lockers to store belongings while enjoying the park
-Emphasis on cleanliness for the entire facility, equipment and toys
-Convenient and clean places to change and nurse babies
-A clean dining area with healthy lunch and snack food choices including allergen free food options

Admission for the indoor activity museum will be reasonably priced. Annual memberships will also be available. Visitors will feel good knowing that all proceeds are going toward the important cause of supporting the Family Refuge Center.
